The Grown Up Marshmallows Story

Grown Up Marshmallows are handmade in small batches and flavoured with organic red fruit grown in nutrient rich soil on Exmoor National Park. Maintained by Nature, pollinated by bumblebees, Exmoor’s pure fresh air and water swells our berries full of vitamin C until they are sweet, ripe, ready to hand-pick, and flavour our luxury marshmallows, helping to prevent infection and support a healthy immune system for our customers. All other ingredients are sourced as ethically as possible considering their impact on the planet.

The Grown Up Marshmallow range is FREE FROM gluten, egg, dairy, fat, palm oil and GMO.

There are 6 flavours in the Traditional range. Sicilian Lemon, Summer Fruit and Just Gin flavours are naturally gluten, dairy, egg, palm oil, GMO and fat free. Salted Peanut & Caramel, Raspberry Chocolate Drizzle and Dipped Chocolate flavours are gluten, palm oil, GMO and egg free.

We also produce 2 flavours in our Plant Based range, Forest Fruit, made with organically grown red fruit on Exmoor National Park, and Chocolate Drizzled Velvet Vanilla made with dairy free light chocolate accredited by the Vegan Society.

No artificial colourings, flavourings nor drying agents are used in the production of Grown Up Marshmallows, and the chocolate used on our traditional marshmallows is Fair Trade.

It is as important that the packaging adheres to the same ethical philosophy as our marshmallows. Therefore, Grown Up Marshmallows are packaged in 100% recyclable, biodegradable, compostable material, including the bag inside. The box is printed with vegetable ink with no lamination and held together with water-based glue. The manufacturing process is Carbon Neutral, and we have ‘Plastic Free’ status, … out of consideration for the planet.

Our philosophy is printed on the back of all our packaging, together with the Exmoor flag and our tagline, '...out of consideration for the planet.' In short, to invest in the brand Grown Up Marshmallows is a conscious ethical purchase for the consumer who wants what is probably the most ethically produced marshmallows available; they also just happen to be totally delicious and moreish, (or should I say Moorish)!
